Board Chairman, Rev. Dr. Paul K. Boafo

Rev. Dr. is the Protestant Chaplain at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He is also a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Religious Studies at the University in the fields of Christian Ethics, Church History, Christian Doctrines

He is a Reverend Minister of Methodist Church of Ghana-KNUST, a member of the University Welfare Services Board and serving on several Boards and Committees at the University.

With AFCOPB, he is the Chairman of Board of Directors who supervise successful implementation of many projects.

His work us a social entrepreneur has revolve around the area of peace and has seen to the successful implementation of many programmes drawn by the African Centre for Peace Building
 

Board Secretary, Ms. Gifty Afua Nudzor

Gifty holds BA Economics from KNUST, Certificate in Conflict Analysis from the United State Institute of Peace-August 2010 and Certificate in 'Eye Opening' Web Designing in 2008

She worked as the Promotional Manageress for West African Business Services, Accra between 2007 and Sales Executive for MS Agric Ventures-Accra.

In 2008 Gifty served as a Volunteer on the SRC-HFC Bank Voluntary Service, KNUST and a Volunteer on the National Youth Employment Head-Count Exercise at the Bosome Freho District in the Ashanti Region in 2009. In 2008-09, She was elected as the National Women’s Commissioner for the Volta Region Students’ Association, Ghana

Between 2009-2010, she was appointed as the Welfare Chairperson for Republic Hall Pentecost Students Ass., PENSA-KNUST and also Project Team Member for AMs Foundation, Kumasi              

Since 2008, Gifty become the Financial Controller of Youth in Agriculture and Afforestation Ghana. Due to Gifty's headwork, readiness to learn new things and take up more responsibilities, she was appointed to the High office of the Resident Executive Secretary at the Peace Secretariat Ghana, KNUST Office in March 2009. At the Peace Secretariat Ghana, she was the Secretary to the Team that organized United Nations International Day of Peace-September 21, 2009.

With AFCOPB, she was the Volunteers Coordinator on the RPP-May-August 2010. Currently she a member of the Peace Festival Planning Team and the Finance Officer.

 

Mr. Opoku Afriyie, Board Member

Mr. Kwame Opoku Afriyie is a lecturer in Economics and Industrial Management at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi since 1984 till date.

He was a Participated in the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) XII, Pre-event Workshop on `'Development Strategies in Africa,'' University of Ghana, Accra, April 19,2008 Commission Member, National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), Accra

He was also a Member of Bank of Ghana/NCCE National Monitoring Team for Public Education on the Cedi Re-denomination Exercise, 2007


His special area has been in Democracy, Political Stability and the Economy and then Public Policy. He had his University education in Germany. He was a Fulbright Fellow in the USA in 1995-1996. Mr. Opoku Afriyie served and participated in numerous conferences, Committees, seminars, lectures, etc on various issues with direct reference to his personal status in the country. Notable among them are Regional Fora On The "Evolving Democracy" Organized by The National Commission for Civic Education. He also served as a member to the Drafting Committee of the National Commission for Democracy, 1991 prior to the referendum in 1992.

   

Mr. E.K Senyo Kumedzina, Board Member 
(BA. Geo and Rural Dev.-KNUST, Cert-Conflict Analysis-USIP, Cert. Web Tech-Gh)

He holds a Bachelor Degree in Geography and Rural Development from KNUST, a Certificate in Conflict Analysis from the United States Institute of Peace.

He is a Rural Development advocate, youth activist, social entrepreneur, and a Web Designer. He wants to make positive impact on the world through the work of peace, leadership, and above all fight against injustice, oppression, exploitation, corruption and all forms of discrimination.

With AFCOPB, served as the Director in-charge of Peace & Conflict between March 1, 2010-January 6, 2011.

In this period he together with AFCOPB Team designed and piloted the Rural Peace Project in four regions in Ghana. He also lead a team to design the Peace Festival, Health Mission, Farm for Peace, My Right:My Property, Peace Village, Peace To All Projects. He has developed and still the Webmaster of the Centre and several other NGOs. He also developed Peace Conference and Certificates modules.

Currently Mr. Emmanuel Senyo Kumedzina is the Executive Director, Coordinator-General for Peace Fellowship Network International and the Chairman for Peace Festival Secretariat.

   

Member, Mr. Dadson Awunyo-Vitor

He a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA). Before attaining this qualification, he was in the University of London, UK where he pursued his Masters of Science in

Agriculture Economics after a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Science and Technology (UST), Kumasi Ghana.

He is blessed with several years of experience as lecturer, Accountant, Auditor and Consultant.

   

Member, Mr. Charles Owusu-Ofori

Mr. Owusu-Ofori is a businessman and Real Estate Developer in Accra. He is also a professional statistician.

He is the Executive Director of God Sent international
