Programmes - AFCOPB | African Centre for Peace Building

Home / Programmes

Our programmes are designed to empower people and communities and prevent violent conflict to ensure human development, peace, justice and security. We focus on four core areas:

  • Youth and Women Development

We implement projects to help build the capacities of the youth and women in the area of Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Local Governance.  This we believe is very core in preventing conflict as it goes a long way to address youth unemployment and increase participation of youth and woman in major decision making processes on topical national issues. Our programmes are also geared toward alleviating extreme poverty.

  • Peace, Justice and Security

We embark on projects that seek to use justice to ensure peace and security in our various communities. We resolve basic problems what might have other wise threaten the peace, security and stability our society.

  • Cyber Security

  • Education and Training

We are passionate about education since this is the key to empowering society to understand and know the value for peace and development.

We support educational institutions in deprive communities with volunteer teachers and other educational material.
